Odyssey Energy Limited (”Odyssey”) is an oil and gas exploration
and production company based in Perth, Western Australia. The Company
commenced trading on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX Code “ODY”)
in November 2005 after a successful IPO.
Odyssey’s primary business objective is to create shareholder wealth
through the acquisition and participation in the development of oil and gas
opportunities, with an initial focus on North America.
Odyssey currently has joint
venture interests in two oil and gas projects in North America. Following
significant expansions in both projects, Odyssey now has a 30% Working Interest
in the North Helper Gas Project comprising approximately 28,000 gross acres
and a 33.33% Working Interest in the Jester-Bloomington Gas Field Re-Development
Project comprising approximately 24,000 gross acres (subject to completion
of the recently announced acquisitions from the Harlow Corporation).
The Board of Odyssey includes Directors
experienced in the resources industry and the Company’s technical team
has experience in oil and gas exploration and production as well as operating
in North America.
